In an age of overpriced boutique art stores or yucky craft stores that try to sneak past as art stores, sadly most of the time we find ourselves left at the mercy of Goliaths like Dick Blick or (insert any other big name here). In my search for Copic markers and their subsequent refills, I have found that doing a little digging can turn up a nice diamond in the rough. Behold Merri Artist! I can say that their Copic inventory is great and their customer service is wonderful! Each time that I needed to give them a call, I got to talk to a real person, right away! And, depending on where you live of course, they ship things super quick!
I finally got fed up with having to throw away costly Prismacolor and Dick Blick art markers after barely finishing one drawing because they ran out of ink. Copic are refillable. Sure the investment up front is more but you save in the long run. If you use art markers in your work and you’re not already using Copic, make the switch now!
