Almost your typical “Hermit coming out of her shell,” Kathrine has a fascination with spiders, which until recently, she was afraid of. She may still consider herself to have this fear, but that’s likely just lingering nerves. As evidenced by the new looks she’s sporting, as well as the comments she enjoys making at the expense of her friends, she’s well on her way toward a “normal” life outside her work. Her eyes are portrayed as dark brown, but she simply has large, deep brown irises, as anyone that doesn’t want to keep her at a distance can tell.
On another note, she is also portrayed of having, uh, problems with her teeth. They are too small for her gums, making an additional visual horror to her image.
But the strips that portrayed her typically are told from her point of view, or Monica’s, therefore showing her in a much more personal and touching angle, despite her ghastly outer image. To which most Wapsi Square fans ate up like crazy, me included.

I totally and whole-heartedly agree. Despite her few appearances, her personality really shows (great job Pablo!) and has really grown on me. Is it an acquired taste, or something else? I don’t know, but I really have a thing for her.
Soooper hot Spider girl.

Showing up at a costume party as Starbouc, as i recall, was quite a touch.

Amazing. Many years ago, in Iowa, I went to school with a girl named Katherine Gilchrist.
Not sure how she felt about spiders.
Nice gal, though.
First I was thinking Betty Page… But now, Captian’s Daughter from Drinky Crow!
