Nice! Always good to get more exposition for this, rather unique, comic
Shame though that the webmistress mixed-up kat and Tina in the “demonic illustration”
Ps: I’ll keep nagging You. What about my comission?
Oh yikes, I was off at a con and didn’t even notice your blog update.
So a web series, eh? I could certainly picture that. Live action would get heavy on the special effects, unless… you focused on Tina like you intend. Also, poiting isn’t pricey.
Sphinxes and foot-tall blue men would budget better for animation, though.
As for producers, they usually don’t like to take on more risks. Look what happened with the marketing of “A Princess of Mars”. They were terrified that men & boys would shun anything with “Princess” in the title, and women & girls would shun the “Mars” and warlike stuff.
So now it’s titled John Carter and audiences have to work at understanding what it is. Gendering is undercutting a great deal of worthy projects (and not just creative ones). Best of luck with the gunshy producers out there–it’s obvious why Felicia Day is your dream lady.
Art is about taking risks and upsetting people’s worldviews… entertainment reinforces the audience’s and/or the producer’s comfort zones. Again, best of luck.
