My wife and I finally have the chance to do that we haven’t done since our son was born, take a whole week off and do things together as a family. During this week (Sunday the 11th through Friday the 16th), I’ll be posting awesome guest art and comics from other cool artists (not meaning that I think I’m cool or anything like that) whose work I admire and would love to share with you.
Today’s guest comic is by the awesome Adam Atherton, creator of the beautifully creepy comic Lily of the Valley and the soon to be released Highschool Suicide. Please check out his blog for all the latest news and artwork and say “Howdy” while you’re there!

This is really really nice. Adam you did a wonderful job today.
I can’t believe he had that unimaginative hack do a cartoon for him.
No, don’t hold back – tell us what you really think.
What is your beef with him? Those are strong words.
I think that you’ve fallen for the self deprecating comment. I would not be surprised to find out that SoWhyMe is in fact Adam, the guest Artist today.
However, I won’t put any money on that, I’ve occasionally been wrong before. *smiles*
If I were Adam, it would have been a pretty elaborate thing to do on my part as I have been here for some time.
As I said, “However, I won’t put any money on that, I’ve occasionally been wrong before.”
So the next question is: What is your issue with Mr. Atherton’s work? Paul has not only approved his work for this guest piece but has also promoted his work.
As to your prolonged presence here, that in no way would eliminate the possibility of being the artist in question, unless you Expect me to backlog all your comments to learn if at any point you revealed who you actually are.
Frankly, I don’t have the time for that, and since I can see that even Paul finds your response unwarranted I suspect that you may not be worth my time even if I was paid to stay at home an Paid to learn about you.
Then again I could be wrong, but you’re not inspiring me to seriously consider that option.
Ouch, dude. wtf?
Menopause?
lovely brushwork.
Oh…pretty. That makes me really wish it was Autumn… Here’s to the end of summer (even if it’s a ways off)!!!!
Yeah . I was thinking autumn , too , when I’d seen this .
One day, all these guest strips ought to be made into a book of their own.
Not to put a kibosh on the idea, there’s many inherent problems with doing that, the least of which is getting proper licensing and royalties agreements with all of the various artists in question. (But, all that’s up to Paul…)
So have profits go to charity of choice and everybody gets a tax write-off.
Now there’s a thought.
Thanks so much guys.
It was an honour contributing to such a great webcomic.
When I was trying to think of what to draw for it, I saw the ad for Monica’s eight-ball shirt on the right and knew I had to draw that. Such an iconic shirt. I hope she digs it out of the closet again someday.
Thanks again.
Nice work Adam
cute
Am I the only one who sees a shadow of the chimera in Monica’s hair in panel 1? And her hair looks like a flame…
