Mjollnir makes everything cool!
It’s Mjollnir time!
Mjollnir, Mjöllnir, Mjölner… Can’t they spell the words in one way. I was confused ay first.
(The difference: Mjöllnir – Norway, Mjölner – Sweden, Mjollnir – no clue, maybe the way it’s spelled on runestones.)
And I really don’t like the fact that it’s called “Norse mythology” in english… It was more like three countries, not one, who shared the religion.
Sorry, I’m rambling.
Norse = “norden/nordisk” = Norway, Sweden, Danmark and sometimes Finland and Iceland.
And here, I thought Mona went to a bar to get ‘HAMMERED’ (ducks thrown object and gallops off)
Sexy outfit.
Also, shouldn’t it be ‘you’ve got another thing coming’ instead of think?

MR PAUL TAYLOR IS FUNNY YET VERY INSIGHTFUL! THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP PAUL!
Grammar aside, at least THINK makes sense in that context.
Anyone that believes it is “thing” has another think coming, as far as I’m concerned.
Nicely done, Paul. I have been educated today! And today has only been today for an hour and thirty eight minutes! And YAY for Norse mythology. It’s tied with Egyptian for my second favorite pantheon. Although the more I learn about it, the more I like it, so Egyptian will likely become my third favorite. My first has, is, and always will be Greek. And I loved Sparta way back before it was cool to love Sparta.
She has quite enough to heft around as it is.
“Another thing coming” has always irritated the hell out of me. Seriously, it’s right up there with “12 items or less.”
Norway originally owned Sweden, Denmark, Iceland.
Than, after Christianity killed the Viking age, Denmark took over.
Norway as a country has only been free for the last 100 years or so.
Before, that they were owned by France. Yip, Napoleon gave it to a relative.
Sigh, nice people. I loved it there. Expensive as hell and I stayed with family. Yip, half-Norwegian. The other half is a mess of Europe. Sometimes, my dad just claims to English. There is no English in the family except that is the only language we all know how to speak.
