but then AFAIK there are places where the moon *does* look that large, due to various things..

I googled ‘large moon’ – A lot say its an illusion due to your perception, etc..
BUT! how come you can take a good photo of it?? :o
          Answers please???

Wait until the full moon is near the horizon. Place your model on a slight elevation, like a hill’s ridge or a rooftop. Back up a few hundred yards. Photograph her/him through a telephoto lens.

If the subject is far away, and small, she’ll look as small as the moon on the horizon. The telescope makes them both look proportionately bigger.

It is very close but it is not Luna. The seas are all wrong. They should be more to the north.

Well, a little bit of “Black Moon” (1934, horror)–but there’s some other movie. We watched it in class twice; the lead character is a lady who shoots a man in the first five minutes of the film, just because she’s the plantation owner and she thinks the guy is cheating on her. Whatever this film is, it’s in black and white, and I may have to wait until September to find out what it was called. :S

Yeah it looks hairy to me too, underneath, now that you mention it.

Anyone else think she’s sitting partially on her lower back? Looks painful. While the Sacrum is fused and the lumbar spine has a little movement, it can’t bend to that degree.

Hairy bra: Shading, but yeah, it looks like hair if you look at it from that perspective.

Lower Back: I assume she’s on a beach, and her caboose is partially buried in the sand.
