Re thinking Dough-nuts

I just saw a new commercial for International Delight coffee creamer. They had a chocolate frosted long-john dough-nut making it’s way across the table like an inch-worm. If I had been drinking anything, it would have shot right out my nose.

I’m begining to think that dogs have better socialization skills than most humans.  I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve seen the ice broken between two people, by the dog one of them is walking run over and great the other person.

Granted, I would feel pretty weird having someone I don’t know walk up and start talking to me, but how many of us don’t even know our neighbors?

And I thought Iowa weather was quirky.  Yesterday was in the mid 80s and today hovered around 50, yuck.  It seems like this Winter was here forever, snowed like crazy, and now we get taunted with one nice day evry other week.  Yeah, I’m whining.

I’m still pretty happy about getting one of my comics published in Vodka Magazine, and it looks like they’ll be putting another one in next issue.

*happy dance*

I was at a coffee house I enjoy going to earlier this week.  The barista working there had gotten her hair cut in a cute punky crop with short bangs in the front.  She lamented that no one had anything positive to say about her new do.  However, she looked cute as a bug’s ear.  Why do some people cling blindly to another’s hairstyle, and kick and fuss if it changes in any way?  Why is it women that are expected to stick to one hairstyle?  That’s not right, I say!

I finally got around to starting a live journal.  I’m not the most active member in my own forum but I really should make an effort to keep active in some sort of community.  Well, here it is, I’m branching out into the Livejournal world.  My comic gets quite a few hits every month from Livejournal users so I thought I’d join the frey.
