From what I have seen of Wapsi Girl I see that they are strong, in every sense of the word, they make their own way, and they are kind of quirky. Which pretty much describes every woman on the planet!
For me to begin to describe my ‘inner’ Wapsi Girl I have to go back to my childhood. I grew up primarily homeless. I have many memories of horrible circumstances. I know what real hunger feels like. I know what it feels like to really be scared for your life. I’ve slept in public restrooms, park benches, abandoned buildings, on the side of the street, in a car, and in a tent with a stranger my mother left me with for months. The only thing he owned was that tent. All before I was 14 years old. But I try not to dwell on the bad things. Because with all those horrible situations there were good things and good people I met along the way. And I learned a lot growing up that way. I learned how to REALLY work and the value of that honest day’s work. I think the streets are where I learned most of my networking skills. You learn who you can rely on and how helping one person will always come back to you. I always say, “If I don’t know someone that can help, I know someone who knows someone that can”. I am always willing to help when I can.
Today I am a mother of 4 amazing sons and a husband that is the best man I have ever met. I am a model and creator of a small magazine (hopefully not for long). I love animals, specifically ABPT’s; I have a strange fascination with death and skulls or anything on the macabre side of things. I hate the color pink…just not for me.
I am fully aware of the way I look and the judgments that come along with my looks. Big boobied, (implants and I’d do it again), red haired bitch that lives up to every stereotype known. Yes I can be a raging bitch (if you mess with my family or friends that love me) and I’ve been known to toss back a few whiskeys (Jameson, thank you very much). But don’t be so quick to judge me solely based on my looks. You’ll never know I am the friendliest person you will ever meet. You’d probably never learn that I am the last person on the planet that would judge you for anything. I really don’t care where you come from, what you’ve done or the mistakes you’ve made. It’s where you are today and where you plan to be tomorrow. And I will be that person to have your back when the shit really hits the fan.
I love animals and have fostered countless dogs and rescued 2 pit bulls that complete our family. I have a weakness for that breed. I see my struggles in the way they are treated. (book…cover…)
Well, that’s me in a nutshell…a little of where I come from and who I am. I grew up in shitty conditions and sometimes with shitty people. I know not to take my husband and kids for granted and appreciate what I have. Because tomorrow it could all be gone. But as long as I have my family, everything will be ok.
