Amy Albertson What is a Wapsi girl?  It’s not so easy to define, I think. I want to say secure, but Shelly’s got insecurities. I want to say comfortable in their skin, but the golem girls are working that out. I want to say open and confident, but Katherine struggles with her confidence. A Wapsi girl may not know where she’s going, may not have it all together, but she chooses her own path. She understands life is a choice we make every day. She knows that each of us is unique. She may fight her inner demons, embrace them or become them, but it is always her choice. She’s her own self. A Wapsi girl treads lightly and chooses joy. Am I a Wapsi girl? I hope so.
