Hi there. Um I’m not too sure what to say. I kinda feel like I’m not only tooting my own horn but playing a full orchestra for myself here. I know that this could eventually inspire somebody so I’m gonna just keep typing. I suppose I’m a wasp girl because I don’t fit into the mold of what society thinks a woman should be. I’m whiter than a sheet, I hardly ever brush my hair, I play video games, I love horror movies and scoff at romantic comedies (unless Sandra Bullock is involved but she’s magical,) I go to school for film-making (only 15% of the class is female.) All in all I guess I’m just really comfortable with myself and I don’t let gender roles dictate my life. Nobody naturally fits into what men are supposed to do and what women are supposed to do, unless he/she morphs him/herself into what is expected. I think that’s bullcrap. Do what you were made to do. For me that’s telling stories and making movies. If you’re a guy and you like designing purses, do it! If you’re a woman who decided she doesn’t want kids and would rather drive a truck, do it! Never ever let anybody tell you who they you are supposed to be. You know yourself the best out of anyone. I mean hell, you hang out with you all day!
