A woman, who sees her fears, acknowledges them, and fights to climb above them. She remembers her past and recognizes that the people who hurt her were the same people who helped build her. A Wapsi Girl busts her ass to prove her history wrong and to never become a statistic.
I am a survivor. I have traveled to Hell and back. I have seen Heaven in the eyes of the girl in the mirror. I have body issues. I have an amazing mind. I own more books than I will ever be able to read. I love all things Geek. I encourage women to empower themselves with knowledge. I have been broken. I have finally found the strength in myself to hold my head high and voice my opinions without glancing over my shoulder. I am strong. I am proud. I am Stevie. I am a Wapsi Girl.
