I’m lonely in a way only a New Yorker can be…. surrounded by throngs and and throngs of people, enough people that that they can stop traffic…and yet I feel completely alone

For another perspective, I am ochlophobic (fear of crowds) and therefor prefer living out in the country.

She even has a pet whom she can’t get close to…
