Does Shelly know it’s a metalworking hammer prior to this? The only thing she knows is that it’s a hammer that creates a tone. As far as she knows, it may be an ancient tuning fork.
Kathrine just told her what the hammer was, but I suppose Shelly would not automatically connect a chasing hammer with metalworking, or even have been able to spot the indicators that it was for metal working and not, for example, a hammer to set nails into the soles of shoes.
I found this hilarious… I ‘m atleast 4 years late on my first run through, and I’m the only one to post up on the hilarity here?…
Apparently the calendar machine had a minor malfunction causing first the forum and then later the comments to be wiped clean.
I love Kath’s enthusiasm here. It shows a true passion for her work, and seeing someone like that is a pleasure to witness.
Shelly is really hung up on the fact that it’s tuned to Middle C, instead of asking why a metalworking tool is tuned to a pure tone to begin with.

I lol’ed, literally. This makes the running list. If you’ve seen my previous comments, you know the one.
