Surprised no one else has noticed this, unless it’s an accent I’m not aware of, but “Okay, Monica, you sure about this? That a lot of hair to cut off all at once,” should be That’s a lot.
Oops. All fixed. Thanks much. 🙂
Heh! Fatuncle, you should have spoken up this time. You just can’t win, can you?
Actually, someone (Lily) had noticed, but Paul didn’t notice, I guess. That would be easy to do, with this many comments.
I did speak up. I said in response to Lily’s comment, “Not going there not going there not going there”
I’m glad Monica is getting a haircut. Her hair was just getting way too long for my aesthetic tastes. And it really is a literal pain in the neck, at one point I had long hair that was past butt-length, and when I got that chopped off (about 3′ of hair) I stopped getting daily tension headaches.
My wife recently donated her hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths.
Hair donations are made into free, real-hair wigs by campaign partner, HairUWear and are distributed through the national network of American Cancer Society wigs banks.
So yeah, we would rather that cancer patients get the wigs. She came to this decision after doing a LOT of research on hair donation and all the negative things she found about Locks of Love.
So folk, do your research before you donate your hair! 😉
I can’t wait to see what Monica’s new short hair style will look like.
Same here, looking forward to the new ‘do!
Woot for locks for love. This is why I’ve been letting my hair grow long. Its the only reason I’d actually get my hair cut.
Geh, another ugly pixie cut polluting the world.
Umm…..to donate to locks of love you have to cut it ABOVE the ponytail holder, not below it. Otherwise the hair isn’t controlled well enough…
I’m lucky enough that I have very thin, straight hair. There’s not nearly as much weight and when it get’s chopped, it’s not a drastic difference. *laughs*
I’m almost depressed about the hair though. I really don’t like pixie cuts, for the most part. Very rarely do they look good on the people who tend to get them. 😡 But I avoid short hair like the plague because I had a short bob for most of my childhood and I HATED it. The minute I was allowed to grow it out, I did. I didn’t cut it again for years, and when I finally did, it was shoulder length.
Monica will probably look fine because she’s a drawing. D:
I had long hair most of my life, until a certain death in the family, and afterwards it was very disconcerting. I only cut it about four times since then, and it really takes time to get used to not having it where it was.
Monica’s got those eerie glow-in-the-dark eyelights; why not hair growth on demand? let her enjoy the style…
As she finds out in a few years {our time http://wapsisquare.com/comic/phoenix-blood/}, all she has to do is commit suicide and she snsps back to the age and physical state she was before the Calendar Machine.
*giggles* been there…. Hairdressers really do get nervous about cutting that much hair off at once. According to my hairdresser some women freak out after its done >.<, last time I did it they cut over 22 inches off and I had a huuuge grin on my face the entire time (and then proceeded to donate it to Locks of Love!)
Everyone, please donate to Locks of Love.
I’ve done it about three times now and really, it’s such a good feeling when you know you can grow it back, and someone else is out there who can’t.
It’s a pretty easy thing to donate, really.
nooooooooo her hair was the counterbalance for her boobs, now she’ll be stuck with her face in the ground and back problems
No,,,, not the hair it is the source of your strength.
Looks less like balance issues than it would be a matter of counter- balance…When the T-Rex was growing a bigger head, its arms got smaller, ya’ know?
😉
