I was hoping Medusa was still alive. 🙁

She’s rather famous for the story where she’s slain by the Greek hero Perseus.

Back long ago, there was a page where it was explained that Medusa faked her death and she and Percy set up a lawn ornament business

Well, Tartarus in the Greek Myths is more like a prison for them than a one-way road, so they can come back – one of the reasons why Hades has some guards near the entrance of the deepest pit of his empire. It’s a powerful, yet not unescapeable place.

In my opinion it would cause a bigger problem, that Medusa’s head currently is an ornament on Athena’s shield…

Only 360 days a year? what was she like the other five days?

      Pure rage, stjen. Pure rage.

      …Five-and-a-quarter days.

Those statues over there? They forgot to intercalate.

Well you see… Gorgans, unlike human females, with their much shorter mortal lifespans, mensturate on an annual basis rather than monthly.

The upside is that it’s a lot easier for Gorgon’s husbands to plan a short vacation for just five days out of the year, than it is for human husbands to find a good hiding place every 28 days.

We barely know of Medusa, and I kinda miss her already.

There were some grumblings of her being mortal in another thread somewheres, here or the forum. But, yeah, knowing she’s gone is somehow disappointing…

Well, according to the Greek myths she was the only mortal Gorgon. Two immortal sisters and one mortal one.

Yes, but are her descendants still around?

      Good question 🤔

Unlike her immortal sisters, she has the same ginormous size for her breasts that Atsali has to deal with.
