For some reason after reading this thread I am getting a strange feeling that his being in the gym at that particular moment may not have been a total coincidence. What if he was prompted to be there so the two of them would have to go through this drama? A little Nudge to Phix the problem these two had from hiding their true selves.

This has the bouquet of Brandi.

Hmmm… interesting thought… it is consistent with her chessmaster approach.

And, if it is, it might lend support to the idea that Justin is somehow involved with the MIB… Brandi could plausibly have known of Justin’s healing knack through her (as-yet-undetailed) role with the MIB.

Yet it seems Brandi has yet to find out that Shelly’s guy is also the cute officer Bud has been, um, entertaining.

Don’t these girls talk any more?

Shelly has kept Justin pretty well compartmentalized. It’s more startling that Bud doesn’t know, being Shelly’s close pal.

Which makes me think Brandi is in deep game mode. If Justin is immortal, then Bud is a better match for him than Shelly.

And if he’s suffered a life of torture because of his condition? He’s the perfect man for Bud.

This explains the firefighter angle. He’d never die in a burning building, and at the same time do good by rescuing people.

And on the plus side, she now has a sparring partner that she can beat on, and never worry about permanently hurting.

This is getting to be a habit for Thursdays. Expect an update in two hours.
      Meanwhile… Here’s a random quote:
“Emergency! Everybody to get from street!”

Name the movie/TV show and the actor(s) who said it.

Not a clue! Meanwhile, as a similar challenge:

“Atomic batteries to power! Turbines to speed!”

Now, who was the actor who taught it to his comrades?

Said by Alan Arkin and other Russian sailors.
