Hmm. I was confused by the comma being there. Probably the best way to say it is, “…for you and that you miss the danger.” Another option would be to replace the comma with a question mark. That would create a sentence fragment, but they are in dialogue often enough. Whatever.
I disagree. Jin, who is the danger here, is more powerful than Bud. I think Mayahuel probably is, too, and in some ways Monica is. Although they aren’t a threat, the timekeepers managed to defeat the chimera and keep the GGGs inert, then Tepoz had control over the GGGs for a while. Given that, there could be additional magical beings or artifacts that we don’t know about that could be a threat Bud.
The other thing is that danger to someone else would worry her, too.
I didn’t interpret it that way. To me, it looks like “Woah! Where did that come from” or perhaps “Oh, oh! What the hell have I done, now?” Instead of being less worried about how Monica was going to react, I think she looks more concerned today than she did yesterday.
Of course, Monica’s reaction is pretty much what she wanted in the beginning, so she shouldn’t be too worried.
Maybe she can admit she misses it and wants a little danger back in her life now that she knows she’s not the only one. 🙂 It’s much easier being certifiably insane if your friends are , too.
On a side note, I’d say that the white chocolate mocha didn’t make Monica the happy person she usually is post-coffee. Maybe she needs to stick with her usual. 🙂
I had just checked and noticed that she must have finished the white chocolate mocha, but forgot to say anything. By the way, it’s job was to make Monica more ready to do something about Jin. In that sense, it seemed to work.
The links are normal HTML links. So something like this: >a href=”http://wapsisquare.com/comic/a-case-of-beer/”<Monica isn’t holding her coffee anymore.>/a<
Erg! I forgot the difference between “greater than” and “less than”. I need to go back to grade school, I guess. Let’s try that again:

He’s a videographer. In Wapsi time he’s only been out of the comic for a couple weeks. Any stuff with him or M aside from that was not pertinent to moving the story forward at this time.
Monica is just now making it to work, but this morning started back in mid-April for us April 14th “Bright Idea” as Dietzel uses the air horn to wake M, so 28 days to get M from bed to work.
Oh man. You had me worried with the top half of the page there. Is Monica becoming all up-tight and losing her sense for adventure!?
*scrolls down*
Oh, I guess not. WHEW! Also, love the way that she’s messing with poor Shelly here. Like an angry mom talking to her misbehaving kid. And then it turns out mom wants to get a tattoo or something..
A comma might word well between “for you” “and you” . it took me a sec to understand.
Grammer Nazism aside, I love the strip! It made me laugh!
“Word well”? Don’t you mean “work well”?
well thats ironic
And it’s “grammar”, not “grammer”, AFAIK.
even with the comma i thought she was calling shelly or bud ‘miss danger’

Aso. She was way ahead of Shelly…
Onward and Upward!
hehe
love mon.
and for the love of god put a Top Web Comics link on your page 🙂
I had to finally break down and make my own link reminder to vote every day 🙂
I’ve got Wapsi Square “favorited”, but I echo your plea for A TWC vote link. This comic deserves much more traffic than it gets.
Yay Monica!
Hah! On the same page here, are we? Good! So far, honors are about even…
Ah.. the first step is recognizing the problem…
Hello! My name is Monica/Bud/Shelly and I’m a Danger Seeker….
Monica and Shelly, sure, but I don’t see Bud ever actually being in any danger.
Bud’s danger is herself.
No – i meant that Bud sees herself as the danger.
…and suspects that whatever is wrong with jin is her fault, too.
Phew! I’m glad that, that went well.
Shelly’s expression makes me happy. Sort of “I’m in SO much crap!” meets “Wait….what?”
(Homer-Simpsonish “D’oh!”)(
I didn’t interpret it that way. To me, it looks like “Woah! Where did that come from” or perhaps “Oh, oh! What the hell have I done, now?” Instead of being less worried about how Monica was going to react, I think she looks more concerned today than she did yesterday.

Uh….yeah.
“I’m in so much crap” = “Oh-oh, what have I done now?’
“Wait……what?” = “Whoa! Where did that come from?”
I don’t want to presume to know what you’re thinking, but I think we’re interpreting it the same way.
OK, I misunderstood what you meant. Sorry.
I’ll go with: “Uh-oh! What the hell have I done, now?”
Also, it’s clear that Shelly totally didn’t see that one coming from Monica, so she’s a bit deflated.
Panel to panel flow has much improved recently. Scene transitions are no longer quite abrupt; plot is more cohesive as a result.
Good work!
Heheheh . Go Monica !
Woo Hoo! More perferated clothing! Although we may have to add to the budget for Bud Boots®.
I thought everything makes Monica mad.
Well, she’s a fiery Latina! 😀
Well, she is pretty contrary and not very consistent. She said that she didn’t want any adventure to Tepoz a little while ago.
I really can’t blame her, though.
Maybe she can admit she misses it and wants a little danger back in her life now that she knows she’s not the only one. 🙂 It’s much easier being certifiably insane if your friends are , too.

btw…which of those lovely code options I see makes it possible for me to hide my link in text like everyone else? 🙂 Thanks!

Monica isn’t holding her coffee anymore.
Thanks!
so typical. so, just out of curiosity, what ever happened to the boyfriend? haven’t seen hide nor hair of him.

Which would imply more supernatural adventure! w00t!
“Now that that’s out of the way, let’s go buy our tickets for the next crazy train.”

I just voted for Wapsi Square , BTW .

I *so* wanna be the strap on her handbag…..
