Hair ghostie has lost its eyes because Pickle is growing up. The type of hair tie with balls is usually for little girls. Older girls and women often use unadorned hair ties. They need the function, but don’t necessarily care for the cutesy decorations.
Personally, preferred (and liked) the idea that Leu had been left running and learnt these things on her own, rather than being ‘programmed’ with the answers
Little Columbo, eh? Either Paul’s showing his age or that show is making a comeback in reruns. Didn’t think anyone even remember that show. Always loved watching him act like a ditz while tripping up the criminal of the day.
Leucoisa could be old enough to have seen Colombo. It’s been 18 years since she was killed. Cass wasn’t humanoid for a few years yet. Atsali was 2. So Leu could well have been born 50 or more years ago.
And people who think Steve Jobs invented “one more thing”, Colombo would ALWAYS do that to the villain just as he (Colombo) was about to leave.
Ok, this is unrelated to today’s comic, but does Castela photosynthesize?
She loves sunshine, so maybe.
Mix of Blackthorne and human DNA, IIRC. She can make energy both like a plant, and by eating food.
Why has hair ghostie lost its eyes?
If you mean Castela, those are her real eyes.
They appear to be stamens due to her plant/animal backgrounds.
No, he means the hair tie, it use to have eyes
I don’t remember eyes – i remember two white balls.
That’s what they meant: the two white balls where the eyes of the hair ghostie

Just in case anyone forgot: That’s exactly what Castela did to one of the guards Calista’s father sent to watch over her.
I’m gonna call it now and say that’s not Leucoisa. Not even her original program. Someone’s been messing with things.
Perhaps the Library wants an avatar of its own, and the Leucoisa-program was the simplest available route to get one?
Can one ever count on the moral behavior of anyone who has superpowers? Didn’t work out too well with Gary Mitchell…
Two words: Clark & Kent
Sure. He seems nice.
Cricket would beg to differ.
When Stela met Cricket, she was still a traumatised little budling

Like The Sims. Your Sims keep on living their lives whether you’re watching/messing with them or not.
And The Library may simply be feeding current information into Leucosia’s data stream as if she’s reading a newspaper or watching TV news.
Okay, that could work
Well….maybe not now…
