I doubt it. The Minotaur in the library was a bit younger than Atsali, who is (presumably still) in college now. Roxanne is a bit older than traditional college age now, so the Minotaur she met would probably have had to have been a few years older than the one in the library. Maybe that Minotaur’s older brother.
and.. we just got dun arguing about time jumps… sooo might be possible.! might.
also ,, this might explain why she is working MIB…. those were not “fantastical adventures”.. they actually happened.!!
I did wonder if Lakshmi could actually be the famous one, the Goddess of Fortune and Abundance…she did, as has been noted, once throw a bowling ball through the air down a bowling alley…
I think the bowling ball gag was just to illustrate that Lakshmi was a big strong girl. If I recall Lakshmi was a bit intimidating and that was an obstacle to overcome in the relationship with Owen. That said, it wouldn’t be the first time that we found out well after being introduced that a character had a supernatural heritage.
Word Of Paul has their daughter as Full Human, so I guess it’s safe to assume that they are, too.
I have…doubts. We already know how Lakshmi is crazy-strong. And Owen looks a bit like Scarlett’s boyfriend (is it Timothy?), but that could just be because they are both small things.
You can tell that she’s more than just a female Calvin. Her imagination is just as good as his, but she makes better life choices.
The evidence? She didn’t make her rocket boots out of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs.
I know Calvin loves them, but they’re just too volatile. The last thing you want to have to deal with on an Adventure is hyperactive, incoherent rocket boots.
Woops? A little bit of constructive criticism here… those rockets on her (cereal box) boots are on the wrong sides… with them on the inside instead of outside of her feet, she’d have to walk with her feet at least a foot apart to keep them from hitting each other, right?
But other than that, very creative use of household goods to make yourself an exoskeleton/spacesuit/transformer costume, hehe
Why do I suspect that there actually was a minotaur selling lemonade.
Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if it had been the minotaur we once saw back in the archives!

Aww, Roxanne was such a cute kid. Wait, this was last weekend, I think.
Hey Paul, there’s some Lawyers from Big G and Kellogg’s here to see you!
Delightful as ever.
Hmmm. That reminds me. I need to get cereal at the grocery.
Have to say I love the new character designs! Every new face since Devyn has had so much personality!
Roxanne as Mercury.
Complete with rocket boots instead of winged sandals.
Which btw must be hell to run in with the rockets mounted inboard.
That’s what I noticed. You want to mount the rockets on the outside of your boots so they don’t hit each other with every step. 🙂
I was thinking Iron-Lass

now here is ‘kids imagination’ 🙂 😛

I’m just loving the callback to Lakshmi and Owen. It has me wondering if a little supernatural awareness rubbed off on them from Monica and Co.

Yup, Roxanne is a Wapsi girl, scraped knees and all😆
Dawwww, this does my heart good.
This is gonna be one of those times where the next segment can’t get here fast enough.
Not sure if she’s iron lass, captain america, the female flash, or what other comic/mythical character.
one thing’s for sure, don’t mess with that imagination.
missed the utility belt… add the batman and all those other ‘max tech’ characters
I have to wonder if her parents know what her job entails or who she is working with.
If not, I wonder what happens when they discover she’s working with some folks they are quite familiar with.
Hmmm… I don’t remember Lakshmi or Owen actually knowing about MIB and the paranormal.
They ARE familiar with Mucho Mocha.

Well, it seems she was well-equipped enough to handle any challenges she could possibly face out in the magical forest.

Yep, realized that I had them backward after inking. Too lazy to go back and fix them. =)
