She’d never use a scatter-gun on a spider! All she needs is a big enough hair pin, [or sample Jar.] That is if she can’t strike up a conversation with with one of Digit’s Sisters.
“Understand, Mr. Kitahara, that I hold in my hand the entire MIB dossier on your life. If you treat my daughter well, it will be… enhanced.
“If you do NOT treat my daughter well… (raises her arm quickly, pumping the action on the gun and pointing it back down in front of the ground in front of her) …that is what this is for.”
Stupid Question Answer #1: In this universe of empowered ladies, it’s not the mass that matters. It’s the force employed.
Stupid Question Answer #2: Magic/Advanced tech. It just LOOKS like a sawed-off pump-action.
Of course, her majestic presence alone should be intimidation enough for Mr. Kitahara.
you know — I think it’s been a while since we’ve seen either Kath or Monica at work. Do they still work at the Museum? or do they now work for The Library and/or MIB? (What’s the story here?)
NOW THAT is a dame… of course that entire look just SCREAMS trouble.
Good taste in weaponry, (not sure about the sawed off ness but that’s a matter of taste SHE can probably get the proper permits for that)
Smart
VERY VERY well built
And knows how to use ALL of it.
Looks like the character that would cause the opening lines in a Hammet or a Westlake novel or Elmore Leonard…
What’s with Kath and that pump gun?
What do you mean? It’s just standard office supplies when you have any association with the MIB.
I love it.
…Although I really have to wonder just how big the spiders are in the stacks.

Who says it’s scatter shot? Could be a slug, or incendiary round.
…or one of those tacky “Widow Maker” slugs [pointy bits on a length of chain.]
shit Kat’s like a fine wine, she just gets better with age.

Stupid Question:
If you cut down the stock of a pump-action THAT much, how does it have enough mass to cycle it one-handed?
Quick up and down will cycle it, though it does take practice not to lose it
Mass is basically irrelevant for cycling, though not for recoil reduction. A shotgun like that kicks like an irritated mule.

So … a Bruised Rib is better then a Broken Collar Bone? [That doesn’t take much of an impact, as I recall.] That or a really strong forearms.
Something tells me Katherine isn’t the type to brandish a shotgun at a young teenage boy.
So “Noisy Cricket?” 8D
She’s come a long way, baby.
A tough lady bearing Shockwave. What is not to like?
Mossberg Shockwave or Remington Model 870 Tac-14?
I’m in love she knows to keep her booger hook off the bang switch!
Yeah, that was a nice touch of Paul’s… showing that both he, and Kath, are aware of How Not To Accidentally Blow Off Your Own Foot.
you know — I think it’s been a while since we’ve seen either Kath or Monica at work. Do they still work at the Museum? or do they now work for The Library and/or MIB? (What’s the story here?)
Kath has made her hatred of the Library’s meddling quite clear. I doubt she’d work there in good conscience.
I doubt she’d need the shotgun to work at the Museum, so if this image is canonical, I’d suggest she works for MIB now.
Monica quit her job at the museum and started concentrating on her antique shop. Not sure if Kath still works there still, or not.
‘Twas my question as well…where is she working these days?
I’m sorry but for one-handed operation its semi-auto all the way….maybe a lever action if you want that fancy-shmancy twirl.
Them calves, tho.
Makes a fella want to go into cattle rustlin’, seein’ calves like that…
I’m w’ch you guys; and them upper over hangs ain’t bad either…
Oh, Yes. Looking Good, Katherine.
Keep up the great work.
Oooo, I want a Shockwave too!

Yeah, this dame is Trouble in all possible ways…
That picture needs to be pitched as a movie or TV series.
