There was one episode where they (and every expert they talked with) thought an online film was faked.
The film put a bucket full of thermite on top of a block of ICE and lit the thermite.
The ice exploded.
Jamie and the other MB (I forget his name) were certain the film was fake.
They were extremely surprised when the ice in their experiment EXPLODED.
In fact, one block of ice hit their protective wall (from 30+ feet) hard enough to have done serious damage to an unprotected human.
Well, evidently they didn’t think it was fake enough not to put up a screen. I like them, I guess, I just wish they were more scientific about their process. Or didn’t lie about what they thought about stuff to make people talk about it. “Make things explode” is basically their money maker I guess.
One of the best things about Mythbusters was that even if they were certain nothing dangerous would happen during an experiment, they alway set up protections just in case they were wrong.
I’m thinking that’s Bud calling. <3
we need a dietzel t=shirt
Little did Dietzel know, it was the episode where they tried to see if they could dry a dog in the microwave.
Actually, I used to watch MB all the time.
