Some scientists once believed that (some} dinosaurs had a second brain at the base of the spine, and that it controlled the tail. Turns out they were wrong, but…
That was a weird theory and has since been disproven.
Frankly, a lot of early palaeontology was extremely ad-hoc, and less scientific than we like to think. More recent technologies have punched a lot of holes in the theories of dinosaurs we were raised on. Many skeletons were assembled with bones we now know came from different creatures. Then there’s the feathers thing…
You know were most experts believe the Greek myth about the cyclops came from? Someone found an elephant skill. A great big skull, on a pile of really big bones, and in the centre of the forehead of that skull is a great big cavity (where the trunk connected). Someone mistook it for an singular eye socket. Thus comes the myth of a giant humanoid with one big eye in the middle of his forehead.
That’s kind of what early Paleontology was like, but we all assumed their guesswork was cutting edge science. :/
Indeed. “Fanny” does not refer to the same body parts in every English-speaking part of the world. 😛
Also how vulgar the word is considered varies widely as well.

Maybe devil gals do?

…curse my typoes. T_T
Rosslyn’s tail is giving Castela its own stamp of approval on her positive appraisal of it. ( At least, that’s what I think is happening . . .)
Castela needs a T-shirt that says “PFAW: Prehensile Fanny Appendage Whisperer”
Just be careful of wearing that in England… :p
Also, the meaning would change depending on the specific emphasis.

Snuggletail!
I’ve heard of tail-snuggles, I didn’t realize they were reciprocal.
The puns just write themselves.
Affectionate thing, isn’t it?
Do you think the tail should have ASKED first before getting all cuddly with Cas? Nope, tail is just like a cat…
Cute having Castela, tamer of Eldritch Abominations, of the other side of that talk.
“Are you afraid you might lose control and accidentally hurt me?”
Yeah. Right.
Query: If the tail can cut through steel, how does she… you know… keep it hidden?
Hammerspace.
L- space
Awww… tail made a fren!
Second panel, Rosslyn’s text balloon: “personality” is missing the “i”.

Castela’s mammal·bumps have developed more nicely than her sister’s 😏
