That’s not fat, Castela. That’s muscle. You’re a future super hero!

Mildly confused though. Given she weaves herself into a more human form- surely she can just weave herself slightly differently if she wants to?

It’s a learned skill, and it has limits.

Sweetie you need to have legs like that. You never know when you’re going to need to make a nice well-placed roundhouse kick to knock someone’s lights out.

or even a step up enzuigiri roundhouse, if you really want the lights out.

i meant a reversed enzuigiri, using the ankle and heel, rather than the instep or the front of the foot.

Tree stumps never looked so cute, nor were able to have nailpolish applied 😀

Castela might be able to do something about that the easy way. She shapeshifts to look human. This could just be a part of the process she’s neglected till now.

I think the ‘shapeshift’ is less powerful than that. It seems more like magical makeup rather than true shapeshifting. Horns and other nonhuman parts are concealed but her overall body shape remains the same and reflects what she would look like if she had been born human.

Within limits most likely. After all she still has to provide structural support without a ridged bone structure. She can adjust her gorse structure (was running around in a pot), but has probably just been riding on instinct for most of it. For example those “tree trunk” legs likely “feel” more comfortable, as they do a better job of distributing the rest of her mass. Subconsciously it would be what she’d generate. Think of it like favoring an injured leg, your body tells you something is wrong and “uncomfortable”, so without thinking you try to put as little weight on it as possible. In some instances this is the correct course, other times (like in physical therapy) you consciously endure the pain and stand on it anyways.

Now that she’s reaching those lovely stages of greater meta-cogitation and think about herself, Castela may now feel a drive to experiment with her body form. Even if such experiments are painful and possibly unhealthy. As a positive she may discover better structural arrangements.

Wait until she notices her wrists! On another note: You were doing so well about your body image before, Castella! What happened to that confidence!?

She is still noticing her body, can’t have a well-informed image of your body if you only look at your butt and bewbs
