And now we have the mis-reading of ones feelings thing. Shawna has gone from thinking she loved Hiroshi ( because he’s a good looking hunky boy. gotta love pheromones. ) to starting to really feel what she thought she felt. Which has me thinking. Cass really would maybe a better fit for Hiroshi. There was a real attraction there on both their parts. And not just on the raging teen hormones point of view. Esp. on Hiroshi’s part. He remembers everything thing Cass said to him while he was a butterfly. He’s seen the real Cass with her guard down just being herself. Which I have said before> Cass is a mix of Wisdom beyond her years, Bat shit crazy and Awesome coolness to the power of infinity. And let face it she becoming really easy on the eyes to boot. ( even tho she hates her mammal bumps.)
A small point or order. Pool or hot tub…should Shawna be wearing her glasses there? Matter of choice, I suppose. (I usually don’t though I can’t see more than blurred distant shapes without them.)
Being able to ID people before they speak is a plus. Sure, you risk losing the glasses temporarily. But if the alternative is being helpless due to vision issues… risk vs certainty.
What I always wanted was prescription goggles, when I was young. 😀
Well thank you very much for costing me the last week of my evenings reading through the archive. I did not have that time to loose!
And more seriously put, thank you very much for this comic. It’s been amazing. Coming to it late and binging so much has been amazing and yet painful at the same time. I’m losing old friends and feeling their loss at the same time I’m meeting new friends so very fast. The story moves, the characters change, but I just met some of them a week ago and I’m already starting to miss them.
Too warm? Maybe she could get out of the hot tub…
Nah honey, there’s a reason they call it *falling* in love.
Is it because nine months later, Seymour pops out, and you can’t just keep on walking because there’ll be a cop watching?
?? i think you have your “quotes” mixed….?? Cass is part plant , not Shawna.. an it’s Audrey II ,, Seymour is the feeder…
Nice sun-dappling and ripples-in-the-water effects, Paul! That must have taken some time?
Poor kid. It can take a lifetime to figure out these feelings, and sometimes not even then.
If you try hard enough you can doubt yourself out of anything. . .
Been there, done that.
This looks like a job for…
Well, almost any member of the cast, really. But probably Castela in particular.
Really. Talking to almost anyone is better than swimming in your own doubts and fears.
Bud pops to mind.
Next page, Bud pops up out of the water 😀
Clearly, this is a job for Thymbris. 🙂

Time for a new character to arrive.
Maybe a cousin of the Starr twins, named Theodore?
But you can call him Teddy.
Self-realization is total hell; and Shawna’s so pretty too…
And underaged.
Well I’ll admit it: I have NO idea where this is going! That’s usually the point where I really begin too enjoy a story.

Looks like s hot tub or s soak pool. It seems to have small dimensions and a place to sit
Aww Sweetie! That feeling? That tells you you are the right one, now, go talk to Hiroshi!!!
