The designers I know, have worked with, would n e v e r say that to your face!
Most of them would be to busy fawning over you! Putting you up on a pedistole (sp?) – possibly for all the wrong reasons?
Unless you are that much *in demand* (‘it’-girl of the moment) that they simply *have* to work with you.
Then they would be whispering behind your back, about how you can be… diddicult 😉
Art directors -yes- being as-blunt-as-humanly-possible can slip in over time, as part of their ‘persona’?
Never never never ever take a n y t h i n g they say personally – but I know, alas, easier said than done…
Poor girl. If I were naturally superthin like that I’d NEVER be a model. (I’d never be a model anyway…I’m so unphotogenic it’s ridiculous)
