The whale bone didn’t stick in odd places. It stuck in pre-defined places (the top and bottom of the corset). Only plastic “boning” digs into people in odd places…because it bends wherever there is soft enough flesh to allow it.
I am taking coledge courses on Digital Forenzics and Network security (where’s spellchecker when you need it?); but I have been writing a series of books for about 3 and a half years now.
I am presently writing four books at the same time (and may add another between #1 and #2). Presently, #1 is 840+ pages (thus, the thought of adding another book).
Unfortunately, I had to use the “poor man’s copyright” to register the start of my work.
I’d love to test the ‘web-comic’ waters to see if my books are worth publishing; but I have no idea how to do so without risking somebody stealing the ideas of my books.
How easily we overlook the little things that make our lives sooooo much better!
histry fact:) bras did not arrive untll 1900s… before then it was corsets, or other wraps…
Some did, some didn’t. It depended on how good their support structure was.
Ahem. Pun jar is over there.
I believe their answer was called the Corset … Personally I would take the underwire over bits of whale bone sticking me in odd places.

Paul, are the vamperilla, batgirl, anb wonderwoman prints available to buy? And if so where’s the button
you will have to click ‘home’ and scroll down a bit… hurry, they are selling fast!!!!
Not the originals on eBay, the copies when you click the red “buy print” button under the picture
Selling prints of someone else’s characters is frowned upon, original art is not frowned upon.
Ah, the tangled mess that is Copyright Law. 😀
Tell me about (no, please don’t!)

Besides, I don’t even pretend to be an artist.
Pity them, if some of the stories about undergarments lined with whalebone are anywhere near true.
*fangirl squee* Rampaigeeeee!
Famine and malnutrition were vastly more widespread. Problems like yours were a lot rarer, Monica.
You might wish to do both…
