The Wonder Twins have been parodied so much anyone who’s ever seen a comedic superhero show has at least heard the “form of X, shape of Y” mantra. The Twins themselves even appeared in one episode of Teen Titans Go.
Despite the rationalizations of other posters, I think realistically this is a very fair question. I strongly doubt I could find any real-life middle-schoolers who know who the Wonder Twins were.
They exist not only on television but in the paper comics as well, and it looks like they’ve had stuff out at least as recently as 2019. They also have a Wikipedia page, and there has been talk about a possible movie.
DC published a six-issue Wonder Twins miniseries in 2019, written by Mark Russell and drawn by Stephen Byrne.[4] The series was a critical and commercial success, and was extended into a 12 issue maxi-series.
In November 2019, the first 6 issues of “Wonder Twins” were collected as a trade paper back, and released under the title “Wonder Twins – Activate”. In the following August, the second six issues of the maxi-series are being released in another trade paper back titled “The Fall & Rise of the Wonder Twins”.
When I was a kid back in West Virginia, McCulloch was the big name in chainsaws. When our dipshit neighbor bought a Stihl, that was just another reason to look down our noses at him.
The Stinkweed’s pumped up muscles are probably a good idea since if she uses super strength in the human world they’ll just mark it up to weightlifting.
Bwah HA ha haaaaa!!! 😂
Perfect!
Just too flipping cute.
I kinda want to know how these two are familiar enough with an ’80s reference to mimic it that accurately.
C’Mon, ebby ‘ting iz on dee Interwebz…
Reruns.

Episode? Must see… “Boy Wonder! To the internet!”

“Let’s get changed”, I love it!
I just wanna know why an ice chainsaw, and not a stihl one.
(yeah, yeah everything he did was water based. )
“Stihl waters run deep” is too much of a cliché for Daylla.
Oy.
One needs to stihl themselves for the cutting jokes here.
The pun jar can hear you . . .
It’s not happy . . .

Daylla is ADORABLE. More so than Pickle, and that’s saying something.
Adorable and such a throw back to my youth.
I think my kids watched that show.
Not sure why they need to change.
They’re going out in public.
Look at the eyes in the first and third panel.
They really did change, just not clothes, (or into a rhino wielding a chainsaw.)
The Stinkweed’s pumped up muscles are probably a good idea since if she uses super strength in the human world they’ll just mark it up to weightlifting.
More Daylla.
The only things they changed were their eyes and Teeth. (second Panel) Otherwise Both still cuties.
That is what they meant.
Cas also added a set of ‘guns’.
Then at lunch these two meet…..BOYS!
Those two make a cute couple 😀
Dayla with “human” eyes!
Now ^that’s^ somethin’ ya don’t see much.
Or to quote a popular TV show; “ITS MORPHIN’ TIME!!!”
