Gee – for a second or so, there, in Panel Two, Jin looked (dare i say) almost sober.

But it’s okay – she got over it.

I’m not getting what’s happening in the first two pannels. What stops jin talking? And what/who’s making the “poit” in pannel 2? Nice art, but confusing begining.

I’m assuming that the ‘poit’ is teleportation into the temple (or whatever it is), and being teleported was enough of a jolt that she stopped. Or the moment was ruined, so no point in continuing.

The Golem Girls and Monica all have the ability to poit themselves and others. I don’t think Shelly has demonstrated the ability yet. It looks to me like Jin was about to start babbling, and Bud, not looking forward to what she may be called on to do (Brandi as well), didn’t feel like listening to it and poited them all into the pyramid/temple, taking control of the situation and the conversation.

I was just about to say that Panel 3 looks like Benday board … but i think i recently read that they’ve stopped making that.

OTOH, i’m sure that there are any number of Photoshop plug-ins that simulate the effect.

I just used ink, brush and black pencil. All analog art forms. =)

You’re a better man than i am, Gunga Wapsi – i could never get it to look that good using Benday board.

Are you talking about the shading on Shelly’s face? That was done with black pencil.

I absolutely love what you did with the texture on the shading in the third panel–simultaneously layered from light to dark *and* pebbled? Whoa… Actually, I’ve been enjoying the creative art stylings in this entire chapter so far. Awesome work!
