Jin is insecure, yes. She has also been through this before in previous “lives.” Maybe she remembers that he will leave her anyway regardless of how things turn out. Maybe she remembers driving Alan away with her emotional exhibitions … or killing him during one …
I hope Alan doesn’t mind comforting a clay doll.
Speaking as a bipolar person – i know i’m hard to love.
