Sayria is right…this is a great scene. The 4th Panel is a great line. I know Bud isn’t talking about society enforcing it’s own rules…but enforcing them on HER. I didn’t know Shelly could be so insightful.
I love this strip – especially because it shows Shelly being wise beyond her years – wiser than she gives herself credit for – just when it is most needed. With her great physical strength and profound insecurities she is a perfect foil and mentor for Bud
