LOL, I so love that. At least she didn’t say “there be dragons” because that would remove all doubt on whether she had internet access. I do wonder if she does, though, maybe a whole bank of computer… of all types… Though this library is said to have all books and such… not ALL KNOWLEDGE, so… *shrugs* I could only imagine what a representation of 4chan would be like in that library. Bunch of idiots running around turning every book to dust. And while those are just monica’s monsters, they may or may not be worse than regular monsters. With regular ones, anyone can get in on the slaying… Though, perhaps not in THAT dress… with MONICA’S… only she can do and she is also the only one susceptible.
It’s easy to forget that Katherine has a doctorate. A dissertation is meant to bring new knowledge into the world: that is what the highest degree is meant to honor. Discovering or understanding something that humanity was simply ignorant of before.
So Monica’s insight seems to have led to something potentially unexplored, by any of the civilizations the Library archives. Scholarship does not get more serious than this.
This is a reminder to Kath that this is the high she most wants out of her work.
