   Am I the only one who is starting to picture Brandi with a white cat in her lap? If she starts wearing a monocle, Monica is doomed.

   I honestly doubt that Monica is doomed. Stabbing isn’t always fatal. It might be the only to snap Monica out of something at the critical moment.

   I wonder if Monica’s part is critical to the machine functioning as it is currently. We know that the machine needs to be set on a different phase than it is running now. If Monica “fails” at the precise moment, while the others are ready to snap it into correct phase, then the stabbing could be the metaphysical version of giving the machine a good swift kick.

   Methinks that after whatever happened last time through, Brandi decided to wipe her mind of the memories… though I think now we may know what Brandi’s nightmares are about.

   The machine needs Blood! BLOOOOOOOD!!!!!! :O

   Likely as some sort of catalyst, and only Monica’s blood contains the right chemical. Or something. I’m totally guessing.

    Great expression on Shelly in Panel #3!

    I have to ask if we need to be worried about Monica getting stabbed. Didn’t she get riddled by bullets when she went through the portal?

    But with Bud doing the stabbing, I guess that would be a different thing.
