Being at the top of the heap is a relative term. Next year you’ll be back to being greenhorns. Then you’ll graduate again at the top of the heap. Then you’ll start work at the bottom of the ladder…
The real life “prestige” system. Each time you start over at the bottom you’re (hopefully) better off (in terms of knowledge and experience) than you were before.
The drinks look just like the “no evil softdrinks” vending machines you’ll see in some places in Sydney. The top row looks like the “water” row (the big bottles on the left and far right, with some “coconut water” cans in the middle) the bottom row looks like the “naughty” row with some local softdrinks (maybe Bickford’s: correct bottle and label shape) on the left, some Asian (usually Korean and/or Japanese) tea drinks in the middle and right.
I know this place, like i know the back of my ha… hey, what’s that?

There’s speculation on the forum as to why this was so . . . a spell is being considered.
Recent addition?
Heat and no shade.
Interesting that Gryphon High has Japanese drink vending machines instead of the standard fare.

for some reason, it looks like Abbie DIDN’T want to tell Devyn about the roof-top patio… i wonder why?
Because there’s only a week of school left, and why get her upset about something that doesn’t matter much anyway?
Looks like a couple of beer bottles mixed in with the water in the fridge behind them. But it can’t be…can it?

The scenario you gave appears appears to be one of those times when Atsali would need a Gibs·slap
