Spider Weenie, Spider weenie,
Barely older than a tweenie.
Can she mess with your head,
look out now, your face is red.
Hey there, there is the spider weenie.
Monica: trolling Katherine vicariously via Digit’s perfect deadpan. Although … now that Digit and Shelly seem to be getting along with each other, maybe Digit could join Shelly in the gym for some workout tips. She may be “merely” mortal, but she looks like a rather solid young lass and could certainly manage at least a pair of 5 gallon water bottles given minimal practice.
Of Note: love the perspective profile on Digit in Panel #3. It really stands out against the usual 2D feel of most of the the strip in general.
Nah… She is just learning the art of pranking with her sensei close by… Lol Digit has to learn a sense of humor since her life and by extension Monica’s has been turned upside down.
No reason “spider strength” WOULD scale up.
The reasons flies can land on the ceiling and hang there is because their mass is miniscule. Nature shows always try to make a big deal over ants lifting things 50x their own weight, but skip over the significant point that 50x “almost nothing” is still pretty light. A spider grown to the size of a human, with the same body structure, would probably break its own legs trying to lift its body off the ground (and suffocate, due to lack of lungs required to oxygenate a body that size, but that’s a different issue)
The deadpan expression is the best one to use when you’re blowing smoke.
She’ll make a great poker player!
I can’t tell if she was really just teasing or if she felt sorry for scaring Cathy.
Why can’t it be both?
I love Monica’s expression: “She got Catherine!”
How about Spiderella? Weak Weaver? Naw; just Digit will do fine.
Nah, “Spider Troll” 😀

If multiverse theory is true, then somewhere out there is a universe where it’s possible to upvote this comment. XD
Meter! “She can really wreck your head/Look out now your face is red…”
No, BarerMender, it matches the original:
Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies.
There’s a caesura (pause) after the third syllable.

I concur about panel 3.
Monica is enjoying this altogether too much.
Eventually Digit and the victims are going to plot swift and condign vengeance…

Monica is just glad that she’s not the only one that Digit could successfully spoof.
<3 <3 <3
Monica would make a great substitute trickster should Nudge ever go on vacation.
Aw, I miss Nudge. I love her so much.
Well, last time I saw Katherine’s board, at least one was alive enough to escape.
She has a far more formiddable power – Spider Deadpan Humor!
👍
Yes, yes, let the sass flow through you…
I can’t stop imagening Digit cosplaying as Spidergirl (Peter Parker’s daughter).
Parkeur should probably come ^very^ naturaly to her.
😒And that’s ^without^ using any spider-grip she ^mightb>^ have‼️
Geezuz Monica! I would have kept the spider board to myself (AND quietly reminded Katherine not to mention it)!
