Can’t help but laugh at Selenium’s pose; it looks a lot like the pose Eugene the Jeep from the Popeye comics used to use whenever he would attack (he could shoot lightning bolts from his tail). Coincidence?

As much as I love the supernatural mystery arc of the main story, little arcs like this are a really nice break. It helps ground the story into a type of reality that we are all in.

Hey! I saw that episode of “Ghost Hunters”! It was the St. Augustine Lighthouse!

They seem to have the best luck in lighthouses…
The last lighthouse they investigated yielded footage of a chair sliding across the floor by itself.

Of COURSE I remember that episode! That episode was filmed the night I let my inner demon out to play. If you couldn’t tell, I’m a St. Augustine resident.

A cat following the orders of a human…? Clearly a work of imagination!
