Yep, it used to be secretaries that ruled the world. Now personal assistants carry that burden.
You know how the first personal assistant came about. A secretary hired a PR firm in order to get a raise.
Same basic job, less typing, and filing, more appointment making, trip planning, and financial work, but basically the same.
