This reminds me of the original Skylab space station. When they were designing it a photo of the waste reclimation system was making the rounds with a comment on it. The problem was the solid human waste needed to be separated from the liquid waste so the liquid could be purified back to water and reused. The waste was sucked though a tube to the “fecal collection chamber” where it would hit a set of rotary blades that would throw the solids out to the sides of the chamber to be collected and disposed while the liquid would pass through the blades and continue to the water reclimation chamber. Someone added the comment “so the shits SUPPOSED to hit the fan”.
I love Panel 2 and 3. Nice on the minimalist take. Paul’s style is really starting to develop. You can see really see it when compared to the items later on.
