Nah, I haven’t pulled this, but it’s about what the glasses are for. I’m quite nearsighted on my right eye, but I’m only slightly off from normal vision on my left, so I can’t focus without the glasses bringing my eyes into sync. There’s never a situation outside of sleep or showering that requires them to be off.
Try taking a dive into the sea from a high cliff, only to realize that you had your glasses on and that now they are somewhere on the bottom and that it’s 30 feet deep…
I’ve done that once, and though I could easily dive down to the seabed I had very limited time to search, and an effective visual range of less than 3 feet, in the dark, and every time I touched anything a cloud of silt would billow up making impossible to see anything. Didn’t find those glasses so it was an expensive afternoon…
There is an even sneakier place: wearing them.
…I’v done that too.
Omg, so’ve I. I always feel like such a dork when someone goes “You’re wearing ’em Raye” I go, “I am?” feel my face and go,”Oh, I am.”
Try looking for your cellphone while talking on it.
True story.
I had Lasik done. I still have “phantom glasses” and try to adjust them on my head now and then.
I’m quite sure the only people who haven’t done this are people who have never worn glasses.

Mind, I have accidently showered with them…

Classic problem for every person with imperfect eyesight.
