we used to have a 7 legged spider in our house.
(it had 7 legs as my dad got rid of it one day and it lost its leg in the process. it came back though..)
*continues spooky story* and sometimes at night you can hear it walking (tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, nothing) and calling out, “where is my 8th leg….”
It’s an interesting question. Their nervous systems are many orders of magnitude simpler than ours, as are their brains. They show an awareness of injury, but I think most scientists would conclude that the answer is “not in the way we think of it”.
Okay, that is creepy.

A spider with spunk…
How many clowns has she got chained in her basement?
The more the better…
Land sakes alive, woman! At least make sure the arachnid is dead before adding it to your collection!
I wonder if the spider was radioactive.
