Maturity is a process, not a destination.

I’ve had a lot more problems with pimples in my 40s than I ever did in my teens or 20s.

Aw hon, I’m 57 and I still get startled sometimes when I look in the mirror…. you never really lose that kid inside… if you’re lucky anyway 😉

Amen, my friend. I’m 56 and I still feel like an awkward teenager screwing things up!

I’m 65. I’ll consider going mature when I’m in my eighties. Maybe.

      Nah.

I’m 21 and I still feel somewhere between 6 and 19. Then again, I have a lot of psychological problems to deal with. But yeah. 90% of the time I think I should be a junior in high school

I’m 37 and I feel like I should be in a retirement home where no one comes to visit me. Maybe that’s because no one comes to visit me now. What’s a friend?

        Pssh….kids these days.
(<–is not even 1/3 of a century yet.)

      Two aphorisms:
      1. “Old starts fifteen years beyond your current age.”
      2. “It takes fifteen years to get used to your current age.”

So, at 21, feeling 6 (at times) to 19 seems about right. And, for you, “old” probably starts about mid-30s? (That one is not so accurate.)

    I know EXACTLY how she feels. I’m a grown-ass kid. A 36-year-old boy.

We do seem to jump straight from
    “I don’t feel like a real grown-up yet”
    to
“I feel old and tired all the time now.”

Then I figure we go senile and genuinely believe we’re little kids again. 😛

“Still feel like a kid” isn’t that bad a stage to be in.
