To be fair, we really haven’t been given direct insight into the thoughts of Tim until now. We’ve made assumptions based on cartoon blushes and bits of conversation. Seems he thought he was firmly in the friendzone and was trying to honor that.
This is probably best, yes. Their feelings are, seemingly mutual, and Timothy doesn’t have to put up with the passive aggressive bs Castella seems inclined to put him through.
Well, good. Timothy made his choice. Now Castella needs to realize that she has to respect that choice if she has any hope of remaining good friends with both Timothy and Scarlet.
OK Paul. Yesterday’s mild foray into melodrama forgiven. But only for the last two word baloons of the comic. 🙂
It even makes a bit more sense that Timothy would be so quick to run off with Scarlett so easily. If I were there with a girl I liked and my crush wanted to hang out…it would be so hard to say no.
I suppose it’s hoping too much to think a poly relationship might come out of these events? I’d expect such things are more common in a mythos based extended culture than in mainstream America.
Cas is too powerful for poor Tim. Maybe Devyn or Shelly can hook her up with one of their Greek god cousins. Bia survived the full blast of the Chimera so one of them could live through Cas having a bad day.
Let him have it. It’s not wise to upset a Castela.
Timothy: But sir. Nobody worries about upsetting a Boy.
That’s cause a Boy don’t pull people’s arms out of their sockets when they lose. Castela’s are known to do that.
Timothy: I see your point, sir. I suggest a new strategy, Scarlet. Let the Castela win.
Why? Just because Timmeh and Scarlet have finally admitted to each other how they feel should not mean they both can’t still be friends with Stela, or Stela friends with both
Sure, it’s possible they can all still be friends, but there’s going to be a good amount of hurt feelings and guilt mixed all up. To them, this is a Big Deal. People have stopped being friends for less.
I’m a 31 year old man, yet I’m oggling over this like i’m a 17 year old schoolgirl watching a romance novel made into a movie (sorry sorry I know that’s a stereotype but that’s kinda how I feel at the moment) will they or won’t they. They do but……hrrrm
The feels…
Can you believe it? I don’t know. Doesn’t seem to follow from how easy Timothy left Scarlett to follow Castela around.

Hmm
This is the good outcome I was hoping for.

This will be hard for Pickle but it does seem to be true from what we have seen and can infer.
Well, good. Timothy made his choice. Now Castella needs to realize that she has to respect that choice if she has any hope of remaining good friends with both Timothy and Scarlet.
And hopefully she’ll realize open and honest communication is more effective than trying to mean someone into liking you.
Some advice from Big Sis about How To Deal When The Crush Decides To Be With Someone Else might be happy.
Maybe Aunt Shelly could put her in touch with Heather – who really seems the most level-headed character we’ve seen in the whole run.
And certainly she needs to consult Tina.

I just wonder what Castela will feel about this and what the final outcome will be.
Stay tuned…
Always.
>Final Outcome: End of the world
Well played, Timothy.
I suppose it’s hoping too much to think a poly relationship might come out of these events? I’d expect such things are more common in a mythos based extended culture than in mainstream America.
If such a relationship happened, I’d expect the biggest issue to be the parents. Kids have few expectations, adults, all too many.
Oh, Paul, you are a master spinner of tales, and a master yanker of heartstrings!
Bravo!
*SNIFF* I REALLY hope it works out for these two! (Not that I’m wishing any hateful shit on Castela)
So…what will Castela do?
compete… remember folks these are mostly alpha predators, they compete for mates and for living space…
Cas is too powerful for poor Tim. Maybe Devyn or Shelly can hook her up with one of their Greek god cousins. Bia survived the full blast of the Chimera so one of them could live through Cas having a bad day.
Considering her present state Bia herself might be a candidate.
Nah. Let’s have at least one (front and center, anyway) more-or-less hetero relationship

OMG, the characters are speaking! About what they actually think! And how they FEEL! Is it time for another world-ending event yet?
Castela needs this. She seems to be struggling with who/what she is, and more importantly, how to become who she wishes to be.
You have to cut and abrade a diamond to get it to shine.
How unexpected, nice.
This looks like the beginning of a bea-yu-ti-ful friendship. And also the end of one.
It’s kind of in castellas park now… its up to her to decide how to continue her relationship with them…
Why? Just because Timmeh and Scarlet have finally admitted to each other how they feel should not mean they both can’t still be friends with Stela, or Stela friends with both

Katherine is going to be bringing home a whole pile of empty picture frames, I think.
I see what chu did dere’…
OK, this one takes the page
