Scarlett’s hair is the same color as her fur in her humanoid fox Para form, which is to say it is most likely red. I don’t believe we have learned what color Mindy’s hair is at this point.
Scarlet consistently seems to be the most sensible and forward-looking of the whole gang… or, at least, the one least likely to let her enthusiasms lead her headlong into disaster.
At least those two are paying attention to advice, and going to heed it (for maybe five minutes 😛 )
Hoping for next page Scar says something along the lines of this:
“Okay, now we have that out of the way, let’s examine this properly and cautiously this time. We need to make sure we have the correct equipment and inform someone of authority and power for when things go wrong. Maybe leave a note or something, they will be bound to stop us or insist on joining us, either of which would make the investigation a hassle.”
Depending on the individual “ghost” at any given sighting, might it not be a matter of either “Stone Tape” or “Layered Dimensions” holding precedence? Is there anything that says that both of these theories are mutually exclusive of each other? Sure, the Stone Tape theory covers the idea of ghost sightings in which the ghost is acting predictably repetitive, as if they were merely a record of the past being played out again.
What about poltergists? Aren’t they “invisible entities” that still have a way of manipulating material objects? It takes energy to do that, even if the “entity” is on the other side of a dimensional barrier…Might they not have (knowingly or unknowingly) found a way to tap into the water-running-over-stone as a source of energy without actually breaching the dimensional barrier themselves?
So in the case of this particular “ghost story” there seems to be greater connection to the “multi-dimensional” theory than to “stone tape” simply *because* there seems to be matter actually crossing dimensions. Yet, wouldn’t pretty much every castle ever built have access to an underground water source in which people living there would sink a well so they could access the water? Water in motion IS a source of power in as much that anything made of matter contains energy, more so especially if it’s in motion.
Which brings me back to one of my questions: Why do the Stone Tape theory & the Cross-Dimensional theory have to be mutually exclusive? Answer is: they don’t have to be.
She was more fun when she was Patsy.
I wonder if Barbara dyed her hair to look like Scarlet’s.
While that remains to be seen,a and might be true- We should ‘Infer No Particular Color’ to anything when Paul draws stuff in this manner.
just say’n…

She’s more sensible than I was at that age.
Shes more sensible then entire school districts are at her age. o-o
True dat.
I think someone’s playing their “Vulcan Science Academy” role a bit too much.
Don’t you mean Hephaestus? Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Cue Daylla bursting in and performing an impromptu cover of P M Dawn’s Reality Used To Be A Friend Of Mine.
“Reality does not play fairly.” Words to stay alive by.
I think I may need to have those words emblazoned on a T-shirt.
When reality cheats… cheat back!
I like to say, “Physics doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer.”
jwoulk, these two would give a damn VULCAN a headache…
I’m digging the constantly raised eyebrows… 🙂

Almost called it correct 😀
Instead of ending up with a society of anti-intellectuals, we wound up with one of pseudo-intellectuals.
