So, how many more run-throughs will it take to get all the ducks in a row, all the books coordinated, and fix the thing?

    SPOILER WARNING!!!!
IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS, DON’T LOOK!!!

Only this one, but Jin’s still immortal.

GAAAAAH Spoiler! Damn you, you’ve spoiled the whole thing for me! How COULD you

      Oh… wait… I’ve read this before

I think it’s obvious that they’re gonna fix it this run-through or else the story wouldn’t take place during this particular loop, so no spoiler there. As for Jin still being immortal, if it wasn’t relevant to the current conversation why did you spoil it? (Un/fortunately, TvTropes already spoiled that for me.)

I haven’t read ahead, but I thought it was obvious that Jin would remain immortal? Immortal characters trying to become mortal never succeed. Especially when they are hot chicks. It’s a psychological tick in the mindset that makes for a good storyteller…

“Final iteration in a loop” is a usual thing, but that doesn’t have to be the case. It becomes a question on if the loop is critical or not… The “last two loops” could be equally important, if someone other than Jin finds a way to remember (or slip outside of the Calendar Machine’s reach to assist differently)

That’s meta-game thinking. Not wrong, but it uses evidence not available to those engaged in the fixing.
