Nice bit of a shout-out there. Castela’s next visit to the Library after Luci said that Phix reminded her of Alex Kingston, Phix greets her as “sweetie” (and mentions that Luci enlists the help of a Doctor to boot)
No one wants to admit that there may be something wrong with them mentally, even if they want, and are willing to, get help with their problems
It’s not a case of de Nile, it’s just admitting makes it seem worse
I suspect the main reason people don’t want to admit they have mental problems is that they have ample reason to believe those who would help them have their own issues.
“Get better” really *can* mean “improve” in ways that don’t imply there’s something wrong with you. But seeing a doctor to bring that about pretty much says there *is*. Pickle’s wondering what might be wrong with her – mentally? – and Phix hasn’t really denied it. 🙁
Or maybe Castela and I are both overthinking it. But Guesticus already went there, too. 😉
I’m trying to remember if I’ve EVER seen Phix SMILE. [it’s kinda unnerving.]
It’s a kind of “Hello, lunch!” smile, isn’t it?
Phix somehow never struck me as a Vegan.

You guys are going to make me dig up some Dr. Who, aint’cha?
It’s been a good while since seen this look on Phix, think was about the time she acknowledged she had blood granddaughters.
That… may just be the best reason I’ve ever heard for going to therapy.
Just thinking…. Phix must be the deepest contralto in the history of the world.
You also currently have the aid of a professional *to* help you. (missed a word).
I love Phix
It’s a comic – so why do I find Phix so sexy?
You have a death wish?
No mention of Monica’s old boss being done in.
You know what they say. Anybody who sees a psychiatrist ought to have his head examined.
Thats; who ever wants to BE one…
We need to see Phix smile more often, she’s lighting up the room with that one 🙂

Or exploit them
Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you
So far I think Luci’s been more of a fan of Cas than anything else…3
I thought that was: “Anybody who wants to BE a psychiatrist…”
(see?) ;])
I think Phix has found a “normie” (baseline human) she actually _likes_. She seems disappointed that Luci didn’t come along.
As opposed to one she like romantically like Monica’s old boss 🙂

Listen to her Cassie; she’ll PHIX you right up!
