Poor Dietzel. Just can’t help but feel sorry for the pup, you know something major is about to change in his life (likely for the worst)… better sneak in one last call to the Pizza Girl in the meantime.

And away they go. If they “poit” back without our getting to see what happens on the other side, I shall gouge out my eyes, renounce my church and never speak Gaeilge again…

I’ll take that bet. You just KNOW that Pablo isn’t going to actually let us see the actual machine.

But what if Dietzel didn’t want to can anyway?

    (And – can what? Pineapples?)

So how do you vote on the new sculpture? I see the pages with the current tallies, but I don’t see anything that lets you choose any of the characters, either in Mozilla or IE.

I’m not to familiar with the LJ survey system, first time using it. Maybe it just means all LJ users?

They’ll be back before he can poit. And the reason he looks so confused is, he’s not a poiter.

Well, he IS a very intelligent dog, maybe he has some English Poiter in him. You never know.

Poor pup. He might need some therapy after all this.

I wonder if Phix would let the li’l smart dog stay at the Library for a while. He obviously has some reading skills. Unless he can’t get a handle on a feline Mythic the size of a small plane.

      December 11, 2009, 12:25 am | # | Reply

Not a chance. For all his smarts, Dietzel is still a dog, and still follows his doggy instincts. His first reaction upon seeing Phix would be to go on full alert, defense mode. It would not end pretty.

Uh huh. Have you noticed the size of Phix’s hands?

Pull back index finger with thumb, allow to snap forward – score field goal with yappie bull terrier…

Poor Dietzel. I’m not really a dog person, but he looks so sad all on his only. . .sniff!

I dunno –on the one hand, I’m really curious to see how you portray the calendar machine, PT, — but then, on the other hand, I’ve been having all kinds of fun imagining what I think it would look like — Inside some dark, copal-smoky pyramid, all over Mayan glyphs and carvings, making creepy stone grindy noises as it ticks over each date/count. . .

What’s with the “women” tag? Is that what Dietzel is thinking?

Poor pup. I think he knows. I think we all know…

    I can smell a twist though…

I’m imagining that she may get murderized, but when time resets, well she’s there…

But, Paul, don’t tell me if I’m right or wrong…

    That’s what I HOPE will happen…

But if he’s planning on going all epic on us, she WILL die…

But you can’t take a main character out of a show/comic….

Unless… Will this be the end?

    Nah….

I’m hoping for good things… Maybe back to the light, episodic comics for awhile? Love the storyline, but the patience it requires! 😉

First panel is awesome and the look on Deitzel’s mug is priceless, but I now have panel two as my background, poit and all. Not the first time I’ve had a Waspi background (who can forget the bottom half of See Me which I had for a long time) and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Have I thanked you lately for all your great art and effort? Well don’t worry, I will soon!

I think the basket itself is in the background by the table and that is Dietzel’s shadow.

I don’t think the basket is floating. Trick of perspective, me thinks it’s really in the corner with the table and the lamp.
