Hopefully, we can hope that she *continues* to release her emotions constructively. The alternatives aren’t very pleasant to contemplate…

I wonder how she’d do with one of Aunt Bud’s compressed diamonds?

That’d be beautiful! Might be a bit pricy for Etsy though…

    I like the butterfly’s name.

I was referring to what Castela called him in Panel Two, not the cast list.

She wasn’t talking to Reggie, well, not using his name anyway, more of an expression of speech

I know, but you can take it two ways.

Great, more Etsy merch. That and the butterfly is officially a recurring character. Something tells me Reginald is a bit like Jiminy Cricket.

Or maybe like her mama’s fish… dang – his name escapes me and, forgive me I’m too tired to search through the cast list. I do remember laughing myself silly at his “poot” moment at the beach brought on by lactose intolerance! ^_^

I can see something like this happening (but I hope not):
Mama, I just made a new friend — his name is Reginald!
How do you do, Reginald? How did you meet him, Castela?
I met him over in Bud’s canyon. He used to be a butterfly, but I was afraid that Digit would eat him!

Paul, you glorious madman. 😆 Just be careful so the characters don’t take control of the asylum.

So many possibilities now open up. “Castela, has your mama had That Talk with you yet? About the butterflies & the Blackthorn ..? I’m sure Reginald is a nice butterfly. But, be careful. Some just want to sip your nectar and aren’t interested in a serious relationship …..”

Hmmmm. Wonder if Digit can translate. Assuming her lustful hunger pangs don’t terrify the poor guy.

On Another Note (rather than Another Post) … Really Damn Cool that Castela can micro-control her powers like that. Really opens up an entire universe of possibilities. Apart from the fact that it releases such vast creative potential just for her psychological well-being.

That’s OK, mom, I don’t want a serious relationship either. I’m fine with getting my nectar sipped.

Yup, BEST way to ‘handle’ an overactive kid – get them interested something that takes good concentration… they may moan at first, but will then prove they CAN produce good stuff, and get pride and confidence from it!! 🙂

It’s the family crest of the handsome young plant-man that Castela is fated to become involved with. He’s a Celtic knotweed… and knotweeds are nothing but trouble.

Grab a piece of rock and burn drawings of aliens and flying saucers in it, then bury it at/near some archaeological dig. Wait for someone to dig it up and have their mind blown.

Bonus points if you make the “artifact”, then break it in half and bury the pieces in separate locations.

Mass-producers from China and other places with cheap labor now qualify as “crafters” under Etsy. You can’t compete. Go with Zibbet or another site.

At this point I don’t think Reginald the butterfly needs Bud’s help getting there from the Library. I’d put betting odds on him having his own library card.

I think Castela is starting to realize that, even something that was designed & intended to be used as a weapon can be used for other, peaceful purposes…She just has to discover & develop upon what those *other* purposes can be.

Pickle is lucky that she was rescued while she was still so young. And pretty much the rest of the world is lucky too…
