On Another Note (rather than Another Post) … Really Damn Cool that Castela can micro-control her powers like that. Really opens up an entire universe of possibilities. Apart from the fact that it releases such vast creative potential just for her psychological well-being.
Yup, BEST way to ‘handle’ an overactive kid – get them interested something that takes good concentration… they may moan at first, but will then prove they CAN produce good stuff, and get pride and confidence from it!! 🙂
It’s the family crest of the handsome young plant-man that Castela is fated to become involved with. He’s a Celtic knotweed… and knotweeds are nothing but trouble.
Grab a piece of rock and burn drawings of aliens and flying saucers in it, then bury it at/near some archaeological dig. Wait for someone to dig it up and have their mind blown.
At this point I don’t think Reginald the butterfly needs Bud’s help getting there from the Library. I’d put betting odds on him having his own library card.
I think Castela is starting to realize that, even something that was designed & intended to be used as a weapon can be used for other, peaceful purposes…She just has to discover & develop upon what those *other* purposes can be.
Pickle is lucky that she was rescued while she was still so young. And pretty much the rest of the world is lucky too…
