Only none of those was actually any good as far as horror goes. Frictional Games was much better with its Penumbra series and Amnesia: the Dark Descent. Now there is some good, pants-shitting horror.
to be honest, I didn’t find it scary at all. I guess I’ve seen too many of those “faces jump at you” bullshits… But the animation is lovely, and to see something like that in reality would make anyone piss themselves. It reminds me mroe of the grude… the way the lighting in flickery and stuff… if it was liek a single solid spotlight, or a moving spotlight, like a flashlight… moving shadows and stuff would seem to be more frightening.
They talked about it a few strips ago. The boiler room is somewhere in Shelly’s subconsciousness. Early strips showed her as a child with scissors in there. That’s also going to be the “limbo” area if anyone tries to use Shell as a doorway. Pretty creepy place to be stuck in. Even Tina was a little squicked out.

It’s really slow and choppy on my iPhone, had to watch for 1.5 mins to get more than a lighting shift and 3 to see most of it.
