“some kind of para that enjoys tormenting teenagers”
…That’s called a middle-aged human. We all do that. ^_^
“She is evil! XD”
20% evil, but probably 80%, she’s building up her child’s tolerance to criticism and embarrassment, the better for her to survive out there as an adult in the real world without overindulgent parents protecting her from every bump, unkind word, and life learning experience.
Older sibs tease our younger ones for much the same reason (also, it’s funny! ^_-)
My mother would work in all the trouble she went to have me into just about any opening conversation with strangers. What’s a baby picture compared to that?
So… 9 thumps… that means they have 8 steps + ground floor to hit, I guess. Although that would be quite a steep staircase, so she might be hitting every second step or so.
And I like her mom. Instead of trying to verbally change her daughters mind (which is quite ineffective, given all the “noise” that goes on anyway), she provides situations that force that change from within anyway.
Yeah, I once sailed clear over twelve steps and lit on the thirteenth with the edge of my pelvis. That hurt. Fortunately, the steps were heavily padded and carpeted.
Daylla and Castela (thinking), “Please don’t be dead. Please don’t be dead. Please don’t be dead…”
Castella at least is thinking, “Wow… I remember doing that… too many times.”
Hence the blushing.
Oh, she is evil. XD
Yeah.
I know paul SAYS that Sofia is human … but it sounds as if she’s some kind of para who enjoys tormenting teenagers
On both sides of the door

Oh, I like Rosslyn’s mom. She parents like I do.
IT BRINGS BACK MANY MEMORIES.
My mother would approve
I do worry a bit about the property damage.
Sofia should remember… in a few decades, Rosslyn will be the one making the decisions as to which elder-care home gets the family business.
Someone has been picking up ideas from S*P.
My mother would work in all the trouble she went to have me into just about any opening conversation with strangers. What’s a baby picture compared to that?
Are you sure, she’s not the devil in the family?
(Also great timing, now Ross will spend the whole weekend falling down the stairs 😅}

Maybe that crash was her taking the first few steps all at once, followed by nearly out of control stomps down the rest of the stairs.

Hope Rosslyn knows how to do a pratfall…
Oh, don’t worry, the embarassing baby/little kid pictures WILL be seen, eventually!
It’s fine. Rossilyn is half-succubus and it’s non-magical damage…
Panel 2 Cass and Day are ADORBS.
A play taken straight from the Mom’s assassin handbook of low blows and dirty tricks! XD
Oh, I like her.
I love Paul’s architectural drawings.
Parental leverage for the win.
Okay, there has to be Troll somewhere in the mother’s tree 😛
She’s as a-dork-able as Castle and Day are! She fits in PERFECTLY!
