    I wonder why it is, that the “expressionless girl” archetype is so popular in anime (and beyond?)
    Rei Ayanami from NGE was probably the first (or most famous of the early ones) but there’s been so many more since.
    Maybe they’re more… approachable somehow? You don’t worry so much about upsetting them because they can’t or won’t get upset?
    Not sure…
