I’ve always had trouble with the zippers on sleeping bags…It seemed to take forever to get out of the bag without getting all tangled up in it. It seems Cassie doesn’t have that problem anymore…
… their will be no sleep this night. Given all the screaming and such, where are the chaperones at? I would have figured all the commotion would have illicited some kind of reaction.
Based on current timing, probably – like Pickle – about halfway between ceiling and floor.
Assuming, of course, that that figure in the background isn’t one of them in an odd light, or due to some special ability of Valery’s . . . maybe that’s what she looks like when she isn’t wearing her shell?
If Castela is going with a Triffid attack, I suppose we need some suitable music to celebrate it. Maybe the title track for “The Sting”? or perhaps Devo doing “Whip It”?
Since you've opened that can of worms though… Here we go!
Considering most of her flesh obviously bends and flexes enough to move around normally (but reacts to sudden impacts like hard steel — "KLANG!") I don't think the process of her urination would be significantly different from anyone else's. (The operant question wouldn't have been "how does pee travel through a metallic tube" so much as "how does a metallic tube STOP pee from flowing through it until t he appropriate time and place"? Something is able to pinch closed as well as inside any meat-person, obviously.)
Now, if she became so startled she peed on her own foot, it might make a loud rattle sound like pouring water into a metal bowl from a height, but that's about the only real difference I can credibly imagine.
Ah, don’t worry too much, that’s just Yuuko Kanoe over there. She’s just looking for Teiichi.
Hmm… come to think of it… you’d think his club and Castela’s would have coordinated before being established separately. It must have been an administrative oversight.
The one ghost that I met seemed scary until we actually managed to communicate. She was just a lost soul who wanted to raise a child. Once she had that chance she… left.
Y’know…the bathrooms at work had motion sensors that turned the lights on when they detected something and off after awhile when they didn’t. (Some poor sap’s misguided notion of energy saving, I guess.)
Anyway, it was always quite disconcerting when you were in the stall, in the middle of something, and the lights would go out…
Yeah, I’ve worked in a few buildings that did that… very annoying. After a while, you got used to periodically waving an arm in the air to keep triggering the sensors…
Didn’t work for us. They installed it right next to the entrance / exit. From the stalls, nothing. (Towards the end of my career, a couple of times after finishing my job I went in and either fell asleep or passed out—I’m not sure which.)
…We were told earlier that the power is completely shut off in this part of the building, hence the need for flashlights, candles, campstove, heavy clothing, etc.
Who turned the power back on?
No, that was the abandoned building they were talking about investigating that had no power. The school has to have power — it’s just closed for the weekend.
Feet … don’t fail me now!!
Seems Cassy is a bit too strong for her own good and the longevity of her bedding.

I’ve heard of ripping one in your sleeping bag, but with Castle…
I understand the symbolism of the old “eyes popping out” gag, but Cassie takes it from metaphorical to literal in 0.0003 seconds.
Yeah, but her eyes are built to work that way.
So those were fingers coming through the door in yesterday’s middle panel.
They were clearly something, but I couldn’t figure out what. Makes sense, but I still can’t see them as fingers
At this point I think Ghost Boy is trolling the girls.
…aaaand in Monday’s first panel we see a giant Triffid-like plant-monster tearing through the door and down the hall like Hell On Wheels…
,,,O!O,,,

My personal choice has a bit more heft to it, but it’s not to all tastes:
Becoming
Half a century later, I’d still be doing this. Too many RKO horror flicks when I was a kid, I guess.
I had more problems with the Hammer flicks myself.
‘S a good thing she went to the bathroom first.
Very true, sir…very true.
Don’t know what the problem is. The Ghost hands her the towel, she hands him the quarter.
Is it weird that I’m wondering what a girl made of living metal pees?
… Little bit, yeah. >_<

And she looked behind her.
Or else, a ghostly hand fell on her shoulder ….
Isn’t that Charlie Brown’s line?
To misquote Wheelie from the ’86 Transformers Movie – “Fiend Find! Don’t Look Behind!”
“You don’t runaway. You fool I say.” That movie was light years better than the bay versions.
And it’s responsible for Wheelie, so that’s saying something.
I knew of a church that was converted into a school with the same…ahem… problem. Didn’t help the graveyard was onsite.

How did she get the chance?
🤔 Babysitting?

I hope this doesn’t end up with someone crushed like a bug!
…And what did she go and do, anyway???
My interpretation is that Castela is waking up from a nightmare.
